Kevin 'Beatles Movies Are An Inspiration'

Kevin Jonas dished on his new Disney Channel show JONAS [Via JonasHQ]: 'We have an amazing team around us, amazing friends. Our cast is incredible. We have an amazing family and friends, and we're just like normal guys. We like to hang out. We go shopping. Hang out with friends. We go see movies.
But we just work a lot at the same time, but we love it.'

On JONAS being like classic musical series The Monkees and The Partridge Family: 'We were actually on vacation one year, and were out by a beach when a storm came in, so it was just raining for three days. So the only thing on the TV was reruns of The Monkees for literally three days straight. It was amazing.

I definitely watched The Partridge Family. Definitely of course we've seen
the Beatles' movies, a huge inspiration. I think for us we're really excited to incorporate our music as well into this process, and that adds a whole other element for us because that's where our original passion is, in our heart. To combine those two things is really, really exciting.'

Joe At Camilla’s Premiere
The 22-year-old actress was accompanied at the premiere by her rumored boyfriend Joe Jonas. He arrived to the theater extremely late kept low and quickly walked into the theater. The pair were the first ones out after the movie–the quickly got into the same limousine.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. –
A host of stars including the Jonas Brothers, Josh Groban, Foo Fighters, Michael Buble and “American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi stepped out in Los Angeles on Friday night for the Grammys MusiCares Person of the Year ceremony, honoring Neil Diamond.

“I’m not used to this kind of thing so I’m just kind of feeling my way through,” Neil told Access Hollywood on the red carpet before heading into the event. “It’s very exciting…I thought they made a mistake, but I guess they didn’t because everybody showed up.”

Neil was honored by a host of artists, many of which performed songs from his extended catalog of music, including rocker Chris Cornell, who tackled “Kentucky Woman,” and Groban who took on “Play Me.”

“Not only is it a great night to celebrate Neil and his music, and music in general, but also a way to get a lot of attention for what MusiCares really means, which is artists helping artists and people in the music industry giving back to those that have come before them and those that need our help,” Groban said of the event. “And it is an amazing thing to become a part of.”

Also thrilled by the event was Jason Mraz and his beaming mother.

“It’s taking me back,” Mama Mraz told Access Hollywood, before revealing her Grammy-nominated son, “probably listened to [Neil] in the womb.”

And the accolades weren’t lost on Neil, who said he felt honored the stars themselves were so eager to play his music.

“It evidently touches people and that’s a good thing and that’s what I want,” he said. “I want to be able to reach out, touch people, make them feel good. Touch places inside of them that they don’t usually get in contact with. That’s my goal.”

Just wanted to let you know that IMAX theaters throughout the country (in the US) have added the Jonas Brothers 3D Concert Experience for 1 WEEK ONLY starting on February 27th.

This will be the biggest screens you can see the movie.

We are all getting so excited about the next couple weeks…

Grammys, Saturday Night Live, a trip to NYC, the premiere of the 3D movie, etc.

Nick Jonas UPSET OVER A SONG

“Radiohead keen on early rehearsals”


An early Grammy rehearsal for Radiohead on Saturday morning and another news from Grammy weekend:
WONDER TAKES JO BROS: Those watching The Jonas Brothers perform with Stevie Wonder on Saturday morning watched with anticipation to see how the odd-on-paper matchup would work.

Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas kicked off the performance with their own, Burnin’ Up, with Wonder on keyboards, also weighing in on some of the lyrics as Joe took over momentarily on conga drums.

“C’mon Stevie!” shouted out one of the teenaged pop sensations to the soul legend.

But it was no contest in the song department as the five-man horn section behind them all kicked in as the song segued into Wonder’s own funky 1972 classic Superstition with the Jonas Brothers struggling to keep up with Little Stevie vocally despite some animated footwork on their part.

….Speaking of perky ponytails (bad segue), hey, it’s the Jonas Brothers! And, because it’s already been leaked and CBS said I could tell you, also it’s Stevie Wonder! We were first treated to Stevie’s band working through the instrumentation of “Superstition” — you tell me what song has a better horn melody than “Superstition,” PopWatchers, because I cannot think of one — and then a little “Baby Elephant Walk” to kill time. The house started filling up with tweens who I hoped would not squeal too much when the Best New Artist nominees took the stage (they in fact did not squeal at all), and the stage manager came over the P.A. to instruct everyone to put their cameras away for the closed rehearsal. (Note: there were at least a hundred people in this closed rehearsal.) Stevie materialized behind his keyboards to warm up the vocoder, the JoBros milled around behind their guitars, the stage manager counted down… and next thing we knew, a 22-time Grammy winner was robo-singing the intro of “Burnin’ Up.”

So that means the rumored surprise guest appearance from Michael Jackson isn’t happening (at least in this segment), but, um, Joe Jonas was wearing a red nylon jacket, black pants, and white sneakers as he skipped around the stage, so that’s something. The medley does not sound un-good — I especially liked the way the brothers kept saying “C’mon, Stevie!” as though Stevie needed their encouragement — and it is a high energy three minutes, to be sure, that your teenage daughter will probably very much enjoy and then ask you who was the man in the sunglasses….




Jonas Brothers Assistant: Back With Britney

Felicia Culotta, the assistant to the The Jonas Brothers for the past two years, has decided to leave the musical trio to return to work with Britney Spears.

Fe says, “Britney has always held a special place in my heart, and over the course of the last year I have seen her work harder than she ever has in her entire life. Sadly, I am really going to miss the Jonas boys, but I felt I had to be a part of this exciting time in Britney’s career. I love Britney and missed her dearly.”

Fe was Britney’s assistant from 1998-2007 and is a longtime friend of the Spears family.

PerezHilton.com has exclusively learned that Britney Spears’ former assistant and longtime friend, Felicia Culotta, has left her position working with the Jonas Brothers to return to Camp Britney!!!!

Effective immediately Felicia is working for Spears again.

Sources tell us that Spears is also keeping her current assistant - the blond Brett - whom many saw in the For The Record documentary.

We’ve run into Felicia many times. Even when Britney was at her worst, Culotta NEVER had anything bad to say about Spears. She’s a true friend and one of the few people that cares about Britney not about “Britney Spears.”

The Jonas Brothers: They Filmed Everything


The Jonas Brothers sit down with ET and dished about their upcoming flick, great Grammy moments and going shirtless.

On the filming the shirtless scenes in 3D Concert Experience: “Performing on stage will get you working out enough. It was funny because they told us that they were going to film everything - backstage, our quick change room and we forgot. We ran down there and there were cameras in our dressing room and you see us kind of freak out like - ‘Woah!’”

On the private screening in Texas: “We drove and surprised some fans who were watching the private screening. We just showed up and we kind of watched it with them. It was really cool to see their reactions — when they laughed and what was funny. We wanna do that more often, so we might pop in on another screening.”

On Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus’s Grammy performance: “It was great. Her [Taylor] performance with Miley was such a classic Grammy moment, them singing together for the first time. It sounded awesome. We think is was great that it showed both of their vocal abilities.”

On their favorite things from Grammy week: “Performing with Stevie [Wonder] was the highlight of the century. It was amazing. Meeting some amazing people — Chris Martin and all of Coldplay.”
